Susan has been Manager of Quality Services & Regulatory Affairs at Georgia Eye Bank since 2002. Prior to joining the eye bank, Susan had 20 years of product development experience in the ocular medical device industry. Susan is a Georgia native. In October 2022, Susan was named Director of Quality Systems & Regulatory Affairs.
Susan leads the eye bank’s regulatory compliance program and quality assurance initiatives. She is responsible for document control, environmental monitoring/testing, and process validation. Susan maintains the eye bank’s standard operating procedures manual and completes statistical reports for the Eye Bank Association of America.
Susan obtained a BS degree in Biology from North Georgia College in Dahlonega and then obtained a MS degree in Biology, with a microbiology concentration from Georgia State University in Atlanta.
