Georgia Eye Bank's dedicated staff runs the daily
operation and administration of the Eye Bank,
recovering, processing, and distributing eye donations,
as well as educating the public and healthcare
professionals. Our staff includes highly trained
professionals with extensive experience. |

Bruce H.
Varnum

Until 1995
Bruce served as the Executive Advisory Board Chair.
Bruce is currently Chair-elect of the Board of Directors for the Eye Bank Association of America, and serves on its Executive and Audit Committees, as well as other ad hoc strategic planning committees. He is a member of
the Governor’s Advisory Board on Anatomical Gifts. After graduating from Lehigh University with a
BA in Accounting and an MS in Economics, Bruce earned
his CPA and spent more than 25 years in public
accounting and banking.

Susan Littlefield
Manager, Quality Services
Susan Littlefield, who holds a BS degree in Biology
from North Georgia College and a MS degree in Biology
from Georgia State University, joined Georgia Eye Bank
in 2002. She has over 20 years experience in biological
science and scientific management in the medical devices
industry.

David Thompson, who holds a BS degree in Business Administration from the University or South Florida, joined Georgia Eye Bank in 2003. He has 29 years experience in business development, accounting and financial management in the technical industry. David also has participated in fund raising activities for other non-profit organizations. |

Trisha Watkins
Manager of Eye Donor
Services
Trish Watkins, who holds a BS in Business Management
from Southern Wesleyan University, came to Georgia Eye
Bank in 1999 with 10 years of social services work and
10 years of eye banking experience. From 1989 until
1999, Trish served as the Executive Director of the
Medical College of Georgia Eye Bank. She has also been
an Eye Bank Association of America Certified Eye Bank
Technician since 1989. Trish serves as the GEB
representative for the Georgia Coalition on Donation and
on the Meetings Committee of the EBAA. |
